The Brooks Band is a wearable wristband designed to help children with autism or other neurodiverse traits regulate their own voices when they are too loud.
Megan Cales, who works for the Gary W. Rollins College of Business here on our campus - the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga - thought of the idea.
With support from faculty and a grant here at UTC - and help from a UTC alum - the idea is taking shape.
